Really nice mid-sized dog park. The limestone walking path is an improvement over the older mulch. Still a few low spots that turn into mud holes that the dogs love to get into but not sure if it is possible to get rid of them (I am sure they have tried).
Love all the Dane Country dog parks! We are incredibly fortunate to have this resource. Nicely maintained and a great place for dogs and humans to socialize! Well worth the price of an annual dog park pass.
We visit often with our Golden. Love it. Lots of open space to play fetch. Not too crowded either.
My three dogs and my family love the Dane County Dog Parks, but especially the Verona ones! We all enjoy the great walks we take at the parks and the interesting people and dogs we meet there. Our dogs do some hunting, agility for fun, digging in the field, and lots of running and greeting of people & dogs thrown in there! They love the games at Badger Prairie of chase/run/evade and play with many different dogs in the span of an hour or so. Through the many years we have gone to this park, we have had the great pleasure of meeting wonderful, kind and friendly people and canines at this park. We've enjoyed our times at Badger Prairie Dog Park and will continue to go there for years to come!
